A DataSet in Magtax consist of the following information and data.

 

- Company Information ( see Company Maintenance )

- Form Data Information ( see Supported Forms )

 

 

A DataSet uses a file extension of "MTW". Magtax creates a folder called DATA under the Magtax installation folder where it stores DataSets it creates.

 

Datasets are created and managed through the Dataset Manager.  This shows you all the current datasets you are using in the Magtax System.  It also allows you to quickly change between datasets.

 

You can working on only one DataSet at a time.

 

You can copy and share these datasets with other users.

 

You can copy them individually for backup.
