Since 1984, American Riviera Software has been helping businesses prepare and file 1099 and W2 forms with the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration.

Magtax was developed to make complying with the requirements easier.  Custom solutions are available to meet your specific needs.

American Riviera Software Corporation is an independent software developer in Southern California. Although our company has taken a few different names over the years, we have been developing 1099 and W-2 solutions for over 20 years.

Originally founded as MASCO Investments in early 1984 we provided development services to CPA firms and their clients on mini computers.  As the world moved to the PC and desktop, so did we.

Merging with Catalyst Systems, Inc. in the early 1990's we further developed add-on financial systems for MAS90 (then State of the Art, now Best) that included loan and lease servicing, commercial paper accounting and more.

In 2000 we changed the name to American Riviera Software Corporation and developed our Loan & Lease Accounting independently of the MAS90 product line.  This allowed us to support other accounting system (mostly large corporate systems) that our customers used.

Accounting related products has always been our focus. We develop complete systems from your requirements or can modify one of our existing systems to meet your needs.  Some of the product we have developed include:
